More early caricature work by my brother, the late, great David Holt. Most of this work was done when Dave was a high school senior. Pretty impressive stuff for a teenager, wouldn't you say? I remember him dashing most of these off while thumbing through TV Guide and Creem magazine. The George Burns and Ricardo Montalban were done in collaboration with Shane Johnson.

ReplyDeleteSo glad you have these keepsakes to conjure up memories of the past and no so distant past, I was so elated to see the two of you make that trip last year to the mountains and hiking. He never gave up and I know it took soooo much out of him go make these last ditched efforts for adventure, I only regret he didn't get to make that cross country trip, camping and seeing the beautiful USA...
